| I've been there 7 times in the last year for work. Your asking a tough question as Australia is a varge country so where you are thinking of living would change the answer. Some area's are warmer than others...some areas it rains a lot...others it never rains. It can be expensive...more than in North America...example a all coffee is on starbucks price scheam...groceries are a bit more expensive and common goods as well. Housing is more expensive also. And yes the seasons are flipped...its perfect there in December and chilly in our summer....but it hardly gets below freezing in most areas of the country.... All said however I would move to Australia in a heart beat. I am a Canadian and I find Australians have a similar sence of humor to us. I also find Australians to generally be friendly and easy to get along with....and very laid back. If you have an area of the country in mind respond I may have been there and could give you more details. Mark
